The Connecticut Osteopathic Physician of the Year Award celebrates one outstanding DO each year who has made significant contributions to the osteopathic profession and their local community. This prestigious recognition reflects our mission to elevate the role of osteopathic medicine across the state and acknowledge those who exemplify its core values in their practice.

Eligibility Criteria

Nominees must:

• Be a current member of the Connecticut Osteopathic Medical Society

• Be licensed and actively practicing in Connecticut

• Demonstrate excellence in clinical care, leadership, education, or community engagement

• Embrace and model the osteopathic philosophy in their daily work

Nomination Process

Anyone can nominate a deserving DO — physicians, patients, colleagues, residents, and students are all welcome to submit.
Nominations must include:

• Nominee’s name and contact information

• A brief biography

• A narrative outlining their impact and qualifications

• At least one letter of support
